Starting Transaction on Remote-Frontend

Hi all,

is it possible to start a Transaction/Report/Function Module/whatever on a remote frontend?

As fas as i know it is possible to make an aRFC to an AS with the Call Function ... Destination ..., but this is not what I'm searching for. The GUI is still starting on my own screen.

Background:

We have some customers working parallel on 2 computers and they use one frontend for SAP and one for Non-SAP.

There is an RFC from Non-SAP to the SAP AS, which is working correctly, but it opens the GUI on the false computer.

Anybody an idea?

Hi !

You'll need a RFC-Destination (SM59 / Type TCP/IP).

Then give it an "Activation type" "Start on explicid host".

Fill the program's name and path to be started.

The the named programm is beeing started if you'll do RFC via this destination.
