0fi_gl_10 timing issues

Hello all,

We are using New FI General ledger in ECC 5.0. We are using 0fi_gl_10 data source for extraction. We are having problem with the timing of delta getting collected to the delta queue. Lets say an FI entry is made at 10.00am, As per the 0fi_gl_10 documentation as below.

"For safety, the delta process uses a lower interval setting of one hour (this is the default setting). In this way, the system always transfers all postings made between one hour before the last delta upload and the current time."

During close we want to run the extraction on demand eg every 2hours. As per the documentation it should pick all entries 1 hour prior to the last delta run, but we are facing a delay of about 6 hours. Is there any settings that can reflect the entries made in R/3 in BW on demand with out the waiting period.

Any feedback is highly appreciated....

Hello Anurag,

Thanks for your reply but this is for 0fi_gl_10 extractor. the BWFI safety is for the 0fi_gl_4 data source and not for the new general ledger i saw in the documentation and also from an oss message that there is no safety limits that need to be set for the new general ledger.
