How to Scrap Solution Manager Diagnostics ??

I want to scrap my SMD configuration and start doing it a fresh.

Please advise how do i do this ?

The process what you said i for the SMD agent. But I want to uninstall or scrap my SMD configuration on my solution manager system ?

Hi,

I believe you cannot scrap the SMD by a Setup step.you have do everything manually. The setup gives a series of steps and you have to revert one by one.(by checking the log of each step).

These are some points i could think of.

1) Cancel all the SMD related jobs.

2) You have to delete all the extractors.

3) Delete all the users created in setup.

4) Chage/revert the parameters manually.

5) cancel the E2E RFC related jobs.

BI Activation cannot be reverted.

Wily can be upgraded to the new version or you can install Wily.

Gurus! Do you see any issues, by doing this activity manually?.

Follow the below method

Uninstall Diagnostics Agent only: Manually delete the <smdsid>adm user.You have uninstalled a Diagnostics Agent instance using SAPinst with the installation option u201CSoftware Life-Cycle Options -> Uninstall-> Uninstall u2013 Solution Manager Diagnostics Agentu201D.After the uninstall with SAPinst has finished successfully, the user <smdsid>adm is still existing. Therefore, delete user <smdsid>adm manually
