SAPWebConsole

I'm attempting to get SAPWebConsole running. I have performed the following steps:

1) Installed WebSapConsole

2) Installed SAP J2EE Engine 6.2

3) Configured J2EE for SAP Webconsole (Deployed EAR file)

I'm having the following problems:

1) When I attempt to start the WEBSAPConsole via: http://<host>/webconsole/run

I get a connection broken message

2) The J2EE Dispatcher and IIS both run on port 80 and conflict. Should the J2EE be running on a different port ?

Any help would be appreciated

Any reason why you want to run it on the j2ee engine? I have installed it and it is running on IIS only.

You don't need the j2ee engine.

Based on the install instructions that's what we thought we needed. If I just do the IIS install instructions I receive a "Page not Found" error when I execute the following URL:

http://<host>/sap/isapi_sapcnsl.dll

As far as I can tell the virtual directory is setup correctly.

Yes, I've seen the documentation, it is a little misleading. Not sure why you are getting the "Page Not Found".

Here is a explanation of why you don't need the j2ee engine if you just want to connect to an R/3 box.
