Howto change the System PSE Own certificate

Former Member

Hello,

I have a strange problem which I think is related to the System PSE Own Certificate in the transaction trust.

My system environment:

SAP version: SAP ECC 6.0

Operating system HP-UX ia64

Database Oracle 10.2.0.4

The problems I have are the following I couldn't send a report by mail by the menu option System --> List --> Send by e-mail,

Couldn't create attachments in the GOS object which is redirect to the document server and I'm not able to send PO orders by email.

This problem exists on my test system and luckily not on my production system.

What I have found so far is that on my production system the System PSE Own certificate Owner contains the value CN=<SYD> but on my test system the Owner value CN=C11 SSF Standaardgebruik, OU=I0410000044, OU=SAP Web AS, O=SAP Trust Community, C=DE.

How could I changes the Owner Certificate back again to CN=<SID>?

Kind regards,

Richard Meijn

Go to STRUSTSSO2, right-click on the folder that says "System PSE" on the LEFT side of the screen and choose REPLACE.

Replace the existing PSE with the correct parameters. I hope this helps.

Go to strustsso2, right click on the PSE and delete the certificate... then right click and press create, that should crate a new own certificate with the right SID.

This usually happens after a system copy.
