Hello,

I have a SAP GRC AC 5.3

I want to know if there is a way to import to the ERM the approvers for each role. I have 8.000 roles. Do I have to do it manually?

Best Regards.

Hi Pablo Mortera,

Aha... i was wondering about the same few days back... haven't raised a customer message though yet....

One option is to do Mass Update of role....

Cheers !!

Hello Zaheer,

The problem is that here in this client they have 1 approver for each role.

Maybe a approver has 10 roles but from different business process.

There isn't a way to do it in a flat file or something like that?

Best Regards.

Yeah i know.... we have the same situation here....i am trying to find the table which has the role information and then will create a script to update the field which has the approver....

Do you have any other thing in mind to tackle this issue.... till the time new SP is released with this feature...

Cheers !!

Lucky day.....

Table VT_RE_RLAPRV contains the Role ID and the associated Approver and alternate approvers, table VT_RE_ROLE contains the RLID.

You can have script create to update the table directly ( I know its not recommended... but when tool doesn't provide the interface for the functionality... you have to play with it

Have done these direct updates many times in GRC AC... to remove stages and all....

Cheers !!
