Layout Module - Optimum shelf quantity

Hi,

In Article maintenance of layout module we are upadting the field Optimum shelf quantity from the external space management program. This Optimum shelf quantity can be used as the reorder point for materials planning. Anydobdy can help how can i update this qty for materials planning or how to use this.

Could be of great help if some suggests a solution for this.

I assume the request is obsolete now. But anyway, let's clarify the options that SAP Forecasting & Replenishment offers:

As one possible option for using layout data in SAP ERP Retail, dathe data can be transferred from to SAP F&R by standard interface. This is time dependent data valid in layout module versions in SAP ERP Retail. Most important information that is transferred: 1. Validity: product, location, valid from, 2. Presentation quantity: in SAP F&R used as minimum stock (i. e. for facing reasons), 2. Maximum shelf quantity: in SAP F&R used as maximum stock, 3. Optimum shelf quantity: in SAP F&R used as target stock (value is applied in case that no dynamic target stock shall be calculated by the system).

SAP F&R is expecting to get layout data from the leading system for layout data. If this is represented by SAP ERP Retail the standard interface (for transferring layout data from SAP ERP Retail to SAP F&R) can be used. Due to data consistency it is not allowed to create, change or delete any layout data by manual interaction within SAP F&R.

SAP F&R uses the layout data within the requirements calculation.

Hi,

as far as I know: this field will be transfered to SAP Forecasting & Replenishment and and used for materials planning in this module. I'm not sure if you can use it in ERP.
