Availability Check - Confirmation at order level

Hi,

While creating a order (VA01) , the availabilty checks verifies the quantity in stock of material as on requested date and if the stock is not avaliable on that particular date , it proposes a future date when the stock can be available.

Here the requirement is

For example if the requested stock is 10qty on 29.09.2009 , but as on that date only 8 qty is available , so the system confirms the full stock of 10qty on 30.09.2009.

How can we configure the system so that when the requested quantity is 10 on 29.09.2009 , so it should confirm the available qty of 8 on 29.09.2009 and the remaining qty of 2 on another date.

Make customer master partial delivery is allowed.

It will work as per your requirement

Make sure you have maintained RLT in MMR and de-activation for No replenishment check box in IMG avaalability check control.

Set partial delivery in CMR rather than full delivery this will confirm 8 qty on the 29.09.2009 and rest for another day as per the forward sheduling by the system when availabilty is carried out.

As per your requirement if the requested quantity is 10 and as it should confirm the available qty of 8pcs on 29.09.2009 and the remaining qty on another date then make sure that first of all in CMR data you maintain partial delivery is allowed.Also make sure that the stock is available in your plant.
