What is the perpose of Hierarchy Nodes and how can we create, Kindly explain me in detailed stpes

Hi,

Bbasically Creating the Nodes are to link between the Customer master.

Lets say We have SAP AG's Customer Hierarchy.

SAP-AG

India-Node

US-Node

UK-Node

Lets say India Customers Reliance/TVS Etc...

SO here India is s Node ...you want to Like the Between SAP AG to Reliance so, you created INDIA as node .

Note

V-12 -create Node

VDH1N-To link the Nodes to Customer.

Hierarchy nodes are usually defined between high-level nodes (customer group 012) and sold-to-party customers.

They can be used:

- In pricing for discounts

- In rebate agreements for discounts

- In Sales Information System (SIS) for Reporting

The objective is to maintain sales condition for a high-level entity instead of lower entities, therefore avoiding the maintenance of many sales conditions.
