Hi Experts, we use SRM 7.0. How to hide 'Alert' & 'Notification' Tab on UWL? Can I do it by customizing? We don't use that two tab in our system and it confused the users a lot. Many thanks.
Refer below link for hiding the UWL Tabs.

Hi Darcy,
I don't have much knowledge in this area as it comes under the component EP-BC-UWL, but I found some information which one of my EP colleagues gave to a customer who asked exactly the same question. Here it is:
Check here:
- Media Library
- How-to Guides
- Portal, KM and Collaboration
-All
- Configuring the Universal Worklist)
This document is for 04 releases but the concept remains the same for
subsequent releases. I would advise that you take a look at this
document.
Navigation nodes have the task of defining the
tabs that the user "sees" in the UWL main table
(i.e. Task, Alerts, Notifications, Tracking, etc.).
And each of these tabs ("NavigationNodes") support
different views (e.g. "My Open Tasks", "Completed Tasks",
etc), which support itemTypes as described above
and elsewhere.
You will want to download the standard xml file and remove the xml
associated with these tabs and rename the xml file and upload it to the
portal with a higher priority. The configuration guide should
help with this information.
I hope this of help to you. If you still have problems, you can try to pose your questions on an EP forum.
Kind regards,
Siobhan
