Reg: Changining ADAYS entry in OOAC

Former Member

Hi,

Is it ok to change the ADAYS entry in transaction OOAC ?

We tend to change that to value 1, so that administrators could access the record of transfered employees for only 1 day.

But it seems that it has value 15 by default and warns as SAP entry when tried to change.

So could the entry be changed and would there be any side effects if changed ?

Regards,

Hi,

as far as I know you can change it to any positive value. It is used just for [definition of the tolerance time|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/4d/4aba3b3bf00152e10000000a114084/frameset.htm].

Cheers

Hello Arravind,

There is no issue changing it. The only impact should be that HR data is only available to users for 1 day after transfers versus 15. Based on my understanding of your question, this is the intended result.

FYI, it is common to change this value based on the HR requirements of each HR department.

Warm Regards,

Joe Klein.
