Rollup a request on an infoCube

Hello All,

Please inform me on how to rollup a request on an infoCube because it is green but not reportable. All the requests below it are green and rolled up and reportable.

Please also explain what exactly rolling up is?

hi,

it seems the process has running..

go to cube manage> req tab> refrresh

Roll up

Loads data packages (requests) for an InfoCube that are not yet available into all aggregates of the InfoCube. After it has been rolled up, the new data is used in queries.

Proc

Cube-->Manage > Select req in Req Tab and Goto> Roll up tab enter req num(ex . 100) and then press release button.. it will rollups the below all the request under 100 requests..

It seems your request is not activated. For automatic rollup go to Info Cube>Manage>from the tool bar environment-->choose automatic request processing and select rollup Data in the aggregate and compress after roll up buttons check mark.

Hi,

Its a term used for updating the aggregates maintained ona cube with the current data. It is important to rollup soon after data load to ensure most recently updated data is available for reporting.
