RAR 5.3 Reporting

We are in the processing of upgrading to 5.3. It appears the User and Role level Risk Analysis reports do not have the option for exclusions. Almost all of our reports in VIRSA use exclusions to eliminate unwanted results. How can we produce the same reports without this option?

Hi Joe,

Can you please throw some more light on what exclusions you are looking for in User and Role level analysis reports?

We have option of Excluding Mitigated Risks for User & Role and Exclude Ignore & locked users while performing these analysis.

If you are looking for something exclude action or permission values, i think you can use simulate option which will provide you the SoD analysis reports with exclusions provided.

We like to exclude certain user groups and roles from the analysis. I guess the alternative is to create ranges?

Hi Joe,

Yes, you can use only the ranges upper limit & lower limits as there is no option to exclude specific user groups or users in 5.3 reporting.
