Hi everyone!
Does anyone know if format can be set only for a specific user?
I have one user who needs to print lists in format X_90_120 while all the other users are printing fine with format X_65_255.
Is there a way to set this format only for that user? Can it be set as a parameter in the user profile (in SU01)?
Thanks in advance
Paulo
Hi,
go to t-code>SPAD>hit full administration-->device types(tab)
-->next format types press f4 and see the printer which supports your requirement
-->next assign the outptu type printer ..
now for specific user the format will support.

HI,
Yes you have to set a specific printer name for that page format.
or Else In Driver Program write a code based on User Name
Call That Particular Format ...

Ok, thanks for your reply.
But I still have one doubt: is there a way to set this formatting type as some kind of default value in the user profile?
As you can set the default printer for the user in tcode SU01, is it also possible to do the same for formatting type?
I've tried as much as I could to find a setting like this in the printer settings (at user level) or in SU01 but nothing.
Something like this could really make things easier.
