Dynamically generated images not immediately available from web browser

Hi All,

I've raised an OSS note for this but was hoping that someone here may have seen this before.

We're running xMII V12.0.6. Build 15. We have transactions that generate JPG images using an Image Saver action. The images are being saved on the WEB side.

If I view the image through the SAP xMII Workbench then I can see the images but if I browse to them using internet explorer or firefox then I get a "404 Not Found" message. Strangely if I leave it 30 minutes and retry then it works fine.

This sounds like some sort of caching or publishing issue but our Basis team can't resolve it.

Anyone got any ideas ?

Gary,

do you use a file path prefix when saving the image files ("db:" or "web:") ? If you are using "db:", try "web:" because then the file will not only be saved but also published on the web server.
