Hi Experts,
Scenario is that my client is currently using up to 2 decimal which creates a lot of headache for large volume order.
Now ,they want to increase the decimal positions from 2 to 4. For example, from 0.42 to 0.4167.
I need to know that what will be the impact in PS , if we do this decimal place activity as I am sure this will impact SD, FICO and MM modules but I guess in PS it will not effect much as it is a planning module.
Seeking your suggestions
Thanks ,
DHRUV
Hi
In PS point of view it will imapct all the cost reports. The value in the cost reports will display in 4 digits.
As per my understanding execpet report part it will not affect any other functionalities in PS.
Thanks

Hi DHRUV,
I am not sure, if you just change a table field or a data element, or a domain.
Generally the change of DDIC object is extrem critical. I would prefer some workarounds or even codes modification rather than a DDIC Object. Please do a where-used check of the modified object to ensure that there is no critical impact.
Kind regards,
Zhenbo
