Hi achim!

In the documentation of the ESS Bp that I have downloaded here in SDN , I could not find any reference for the RFCs since this documentation have only 10 pages... Maybe the documentation that your are reffering, i don´t have... Can you send me?

daniel,

check the docu for erp2005 (Business Package for Employee Self-Service (mySAP ERP) 1.0) from https://www2.iviewstudio.com/support_content/_17295/BP_ESS_05_P1.pdf. it's more ebolarate. but keep in mind, that some features are available with erp2005. but there are RFC mentioned.

Another solution to check, which RFCs are used in your system is to start a RFC Trace with tcode ST05.

Hi Achim!

Thanks for your help!

I will try to use the RFC trace... since this documentation for the ERP2005 do not have all RFC´s that the ESS use...

Hi DANIEL

You have to maintain following JCo destinations for ESS and MSS.

Connection Name-----> Logon Method

SAP_R3_Financials-----> Ticket

SAP_R3_Financials_MetaData---> User/Password

SAP_R3_HumanResources--> Ticket

SAP_R3_HumanResources_MetaData-->User/Password

SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics--> Ticket

SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics_MetaData--> User/Password

SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenerics_MetaDataFIN-->User/Password

SAP_R3_SelfServiceGenericsFIN-->Ticket

SAP_R3_Travel--> Ticket

SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData--> User/Password

if u proivde ur mail address i'll send u the BASIC configuration document for ESS/MSS on ERP2004

Hi kaushal!

Thanks for the reply so fast!

I have some materials to customize the ESS and MSS... but, for example, I have som scenarios that will be developed... And maybe I could use some standard RFC that others iViews uses... But, here are the problem, I don´t know the code name of thats RFC´s.. Do you have?

My e-mail: daniel.kiel@terra.com.br

Daniel,

most RFCs in these scnearios start with HRWPC_RFC*

you can check, which RFC is used for a specific scenario in the Documentation for the Business Packages.

Hi Daniel

u get the function group from following from the J2ee server where u deploy the Webdynpro application.

http://j2ee_host:port/webdynpro/welcome

click on content administrator.

login with administrator user.

under deployed content expand the sap.com u see the webdynpro application.

expand the application. i.e sap.com/essusadr

under model u can found the function group for this application.

sap.com/essusadr for this u find HRXSS_PER_0006_US

which is a function group in ECC 5.0 using that u got the function module.

u can find other function group under model node of application.

i'll send the basic document for configuring ESS which might be help u.

kaushal
