Downloading Patch 14

Hiya

I am trying to download the GUI patch 14 from the link above, however it doesn't seem to be coming through.

Could somebody help

You didn't enter eny link, but anyhow.

goto [http://service.sap.com/patches|http://service.sap.com/patches

Then:

- Support Packages and Patches - Entry by Application Group

- SAP Frontend Components

- SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS

- SAP GUI FOR WINDOWS 7.10 CORE

- Win32

Then:

Mark gui710_14-10002995.exe and press "Add to Download Basket".

Then

you can use Download Manager

or

In the new popup, press "Download Basket".

Now you can right click and choose "Save As" to save it locally.

Thanks for the reply, however it gave me below message. Though i have an S-user ID i don't think thats enogh to download the patch. I am going to try with Company's ID today and see if i can get through. Also there are couple of external links i found yesterday allowing this download. Since you always have a chance of malware in them i am first going to try SAP, if that doesn't help, Google....

Hi Ranjeet,

It sounds like you are missing the "Software download" authorization on your S-user.

Your company have at least one S-user who can add this authorization to your S-user so you need to find him...

I have had a word with SAP and what they are saying is an individual S-User ID of no use, unless ofcourse it is a compnay id with installation under it.

Now if i am an indpendent SAP Consultant, Certified to mention, with an S-user ID and if i can't raise or check a note or even download a path What is this S-USER ID for atall.

Really diappointing

Hi Ranjeet,

This is the irony. The USIDs are only good enough for going through SAP Notes and refering other reading and reference materials.

As far as patch is concerend. You might as well look for the same in google. No matter how absurd it may sound but it does help in few occassions.
