EHP1 for Netweaver 7.0

hi folks,

is it possible to install the EP1 for NW 7.0 on a system where also ERP 6.0 is running without any Enhancement Packages?

if yes, what are the benefits we will get, the new features of WebDynpro ABAP (e.g. Lightspeed Rendering etc.)`?

Hi Oliver,

If you are upgrading your NW to EHP1 then you have to upgrade your ERP system to EHP4 as EHP4 is based upon EHP1.

The installation of SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 requires at least SAP NW

7.01 Support Package stack 2 (Support Package stack 2 of EHP1

of SAP Netweaver components).

so this seems to be a heavier task than just importing suppport-packages i guess?

Hi Oliver,

This is like a mini upgrade. For more information you can check SAP note 1143022 for EHP4 and SAP note 1245473 for EHP1.
