VC: BOM not exloded in the Sale order.

Dear All,

I am Implementing Varinat configuration.

I have a Item category for both BOM explosion and variant configuration. I have maintained BOM components in CS0.

Higher level Cateory is TAC.

and Lower Item Category is TAE.

Characterstics are assigned to Higher level Materials.

Problem is BOM is not exploded. If you have overcome this situvation please let me know.

Hi

As you are using VC ,Make sure that the item category should be TAC (at header level) and for the sub items make sure that the item should be TAQ , also maintain records in CS01. So in Item category determination , make sure that the item category is determined at header level and lower level.

I Can not use TAQ because I am implementing Variant Configuration. So I have to use TAC only.

Please Suggest.
