Java mapping - aii_map_api.jar ???

Hi,

We are using XI on 2004s. Many articles on java mapping in the XI Forums refer to aii_map_api.jar to be used when writing java mapping routines in the NDS.

I have extensively searched for this in the /usr folder on our installation. Unfortunately I cannot find it in that folder or any sub folder of it. Was this renamed in 2004s or is another jar file now being used in the place of aii_map_api?

Thanks

Andre

Hi Andre van Staden,

You can get the jar file from your local machine itself.

The jar can be found in this dircetory:
C:\Documents and Settings\$USERNAME$\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\javaws\cache\http\$Hostname.domainname$\P$PORTNUMBER$\DMrep\DMrepository
The filename will be
RMaii_map_api.jar
, so u can rename it as
aii_map_api.jar
Hope this helps.

regards,

Ananth

Hi Andre,

If you do not find it on your XI installation, dowload it from the service marketplace. Here is the way for XI 3.0 SP13:

It is similar for XI 7.0

Stefan
