Hi experts, we have a query from our customer. The customer requires the smart form to be sent as an email but not by converting the OTF to a PDF. Is this possible to achieve? Also kindly note that the form has banners and logos which will be required in the email. Please help me out.
Yes I think u can send the smartform in email by getting the output in html format and then sending it as an attachment or even in email body

You have the following options in SCOT transaction (in SMTP node) : SAPscript/Smart Forms --> PCL, PDF, PS, TXT, none
With the option NONE, I suppose that the OTF will be simply passed as is (so, as a text without). But I don't understand how the user will open the attachement as he will only see the raw OTF format, not the rendering!
Example of OTF format (raw, not rendered):

etc.
So, what do you mean by "but not by converting the OTF to a PDF"?

Hi,
In my opinion it seems to be not possible unless you manage to convert the smartform data to html.
So investigate in that regard.
By the way why you are ignoring it to be send in PDF?
