Standalone CRM - Org Model

Former Member

Hi.

Whenever I create a lead, the system does not suggest any org units when I press F4 in the Organization Tab.

We are using CRM standalone and have maintained the org model by:

1 - creating the root org

2 - creating the org units

3 - on the function tab, chose the type of organization unit (Sales org, group, or office)

4 - kept the R/3 information blank (since R/3 won't be used as a backend)

5 - saved the model

I have checked a similar post but no resolution was given. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hallo Rosette,

Check

1. The attributes for the Sales org. You need to mention that the Org is sales org.

2.Did you take care of the dummy division in the IMG.

3. Use the BestPractices documents <b>B09: CRM Replication</b> and <b>C10: CRM Master Data</b>.

4. Leave all replication things for Stand alone CRM in the docu.

Thanks Prem.

For the division, the setting in "Cross Settings for Division" is <i>Division not act</i>. By default R/3 dummy division was assigned to division 01.

What other division settings should be maintained? Should it be assigned as an attribute?

Thanks for the advice on the Best Practice documents. I used them as guides. I still encountered this error though.

Please check if the Org Det Profile has been assigned to the transaction.

If yes then test it in config if this works for the transaction.

Another thing to check is a check box that says relevant for Org Determination in the attribute screen when you maintain the Org data.

Hope this helps.

Hello Rosette,

We are facing a similar problem. Can you please guide us and tell us what is wrong here?

Thanks.

Hello Rosette,

Sometimes the indexes on the organizational model have to be updated.

Do this in customizing activity

SPRO->CRM->Master data->Organizational model->Tools-->

Update list of organizational objects

--> Run it for object type "O"

If this still doesn't work try to clear all buffers (don't do this on a production system!) with transaction: /$SYNC

Hope this helps,

Kind regards,

Joost
