Hello Moshe,

you find the parameter settings at the end of the note:

eg2/max_extend_size_MB = 4

vmcj/option/ps = 780M

vmcj/option/gc/sharedWaterMark <- delete

vmcj/property/vmc.cachesize <- delete

vmcj/option/percentageSharedClasses <- delete

vmcj/option/percentageCopyOnlySC <- delete

Of course it is possible that you need an other shared pool size. Please also keep in mind that the zero administration memory management is for the shared pool settings. It might still be necessary to configure the local Java Heap (see note 1005457).

Hi Moshe,

Check SAP Note 1020539 - Memory management in the virtual machine container which will clear all your doubts.

Thanks

Hi,

i read the note but still i don't quite understand what are neccassary parameters to be configured for zero administration - our system has the newest kernel (above the required version for zero administration - kernel 169).

what are the relevent parametes?

Regards,

Moshe
