Hello,
we are running crm 5.0 with ISA e-commerce scenario.
according to note 1170313 there is a possibility of zero administration memory management to the vmc as of kernel 169.
can anyone explain what is exactly the shared watermark and which mode should be used in which case accroding to this note - 1170313
Regards,
Moshe
Hello Moshe,
you find the parameter settings at the end of the note:
eg2/max_extend_size_MB = 4
vmcj/option/ps = 780M
vmcj/option/gc/sharedWaterMark <- delete
vmcj/property/vmc.cachesize <- delete
vmcj/option/percentageSharedClasses <- delete
vmcj/option/percentageCopyOnlySC <- delete
Of course it is possible that you need an other shared pool size. Please also keep in mind that the zero administration memory management is for the shared pool settings. It might still be necessary to configure the local Java Heap (see note 1005457).
Regards, Klaus

Hi Moshe,
Check SAP Note 1020539 - Memory management in the virtual machine container which will clear all your doubts.
Thanks
