ChaRM - transport all/single transport to production system

Hi,

We are on testing the Charm process in our company.

We simulate a request of an Sap user to change a report.

So in ChaRm we creates an extra transport order, releases it, transports it to quality system - all ok.

byside my colleague developed also an other report and transported it to qualitiy system.

At Charm, after testing we triggered the transport to production system.

BUT the ChaRM transport ALL open requests in the import queue !?

For our requirement: correct will be a single transport of all transports belongs to the ChaRM project

or to this special single correction!

Please Is it possible to change it to single transport as we need? How can we change our customizing to solve this issue?

ChaRM does not use "import all". It uses "project import all" instead.

Only the transports in Queue which belong to the project for which you triggered the import will be imported.

Always use the task list/schedule manager to import transport requests.

You should read the IMG documentation how to configure TMS. All the settings are listed there.

It is one of the prerequisites for using ChaRM.

If you are working with Normal corrections, they are imported from project tasklist. All normal corrections associatd with a maintenance cycle/tasklist go to prduction at the same time. Which means all transports created under Normal Corrections go to production at the same time. This is standard chaRM behavior and works on concepts of release management.

If you want to send changes related to only one correction document you should use Urgnt Crrections. In this case only changes associated with the Urgnt Correction document are moved to production.
