Hi Prakar,

Thanks but as you told above, i am not able to change the number range 01 to 02 in SNRO.

System is not allowing me to chagne the existing one.

now my system has the details as below:in SNRO>>>>CRM_SERVIC>>>>

01 0000000001 0000999999 780

02 9999000000 9999999999 0 External

__ ____________________ ____________________ ____________________

I want to change the message sequence starting from 9999000001 which is in extenal number range.

And one more thing, where can i find the number range which is being used for particular transaction?

can you help me how to change?

Thanks & regards

You can specify the xternal and internal number range for a transaction at the following IMG setting:

scenario specific setting -->change req mgt --> extended config --> change transaction --> transaction types --> define transaction type

select your transaction type and double clik on it. Here you will find a place to assign the number range for the transaction type.

Caution: Since its a production system, changing number range can impact the existing data.

Hi Prakar,

Thanks for your inputs....can you tell me where can i check the transaction numbdr range.

As support desk is taking number sequence from crm_servi.

Here i can see 01 as internal which is in use, 02 as external which i supposed to use.

Now i want to user 02 at present, then where can i chagne the number range 01 to 02 for this transaction?

Thanks & Regards

Hi

If that is the case then you can change internal to external in snro for crm

this will solve ur problem

and then you can change as per that in transaction type.

Hi Prakar,

Thanks for your quick reply....when i am trying to change DNO_NOTIF number range its showing the time intervals as below.

009999000000 009999999999 9999000880

000000000001 000000999999 0

008000000000 008999999999 8000000000

where number range of second row is External.

Now our sequence is running with 700+

Please suggest where can change the sequence for my support messages.

We have to change the sequence with 10 digits starting with 9999xxxxxx.

Thanks & Regards

Hi Nick

No range is master data dont play with it

remember the no range external for dno is Internal for crm_servic ...and vice versa.

so as per the requirement check what you have given in ur transaction type which range is internal and external there and then adjust as per ur requirement

Remember its master data so dont do if it is production and made changes only if it not to carry current scenario further.

Goto SNRO transaction

here change the no range for CRM_SERVIC & dno_notif as per requirement
