Initialize a new key figure

Hi,

I have already initialized the planning area. I need a new key figure, so I created it in BW of APO and then I added this new key figure in the planning area.

How do I initialize just this key figure?

Hi

Re run the initialisation: /SAPAPO/TS_PAREA_INITIALIZE. The missing time series will be created, the existing one will not be touched.

Else program /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PLOB_DELTA_SYNC should do the work too.

Note you can also initialise a specific horizon for each key figures during initialisation (maintain k figure horizon) but do not forget to add the horizon for existing key figure, else you are going to looose your data.

In order to include the new key figures, can we use the key figure settings functionality inside the planning area and then initialise the time series?

Do you see any problem in this procedure?

Please refrain from using old thread to ask new question.

Anyway, your case is simple: Yes you can do that.

you might have to run the job in background with a small delay to avoid to lock yourself, except that, no issue.
