1000 Ship-To-Parties attached to1 Sold-To-Party

Hello Gurus,

Our requirement is for 1 important Sold-To-Party to have more than 1000 Ship-To-Parties in the Customer Master of the Sold-To-Party.

1) There should be an User Exit for version 6.0. Could anyone provide the name of the User Exit that will allow this ?

2) Would anyone be able to tell from experience whether there would be any negative impact on the system by implementing the User Ext ?

Note: This is for the Customer Master, not the Sales Order.

Standard SAP allows upto 999 Ship-To'.

Your answer would be deeply appreciated.

hello, friend.

from the previous threads, 999 is apparently the limit for the number of ship-tos assigned to the sold-to.

however, if your configuration for the ship-to determination during the sales order processing does not restrict sourcing to the sold-to customer master, then you do not need to maintain so many ship-tos in the sold-to master data.

only when your requirement is to source the ship-to from the sold-to master data will the limit present a problem to you. and then, i am also curious if there is a userexit for this.

Yes. The restriction is to source the Ship-To's from the Sold-To. We have to track the Ship-Tos and these Ship-tos are not generic and have to be attached to only this Sold-To-Party.
