Hi Jithesh,

Thanks for your immediate help.

It would be appreciative if I get any weblog/thread based on following:

1. File --> IDoc or IDoc --> File scenario.

2. Inbound message interface with Asynchrounous mode employing Fault Message type.

I think I am too ambitious.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Suraj,

A fault message type can only be used with ABAP/Java Proxies. You cannot use it in a file/IDOC scenario.

Hi Suraj,

<i>Fault message types are not permitted for asynchronous outbound message interfaces.</i>

First go thru following SAP Help..

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/dd/b7623c6369f454e10000000a114084/content.htm

Hope this helps,

I am not sure of that. But I am sure that to receive a fault message you cannot use Asynchronous communication. Also pl. go through this url which might help you:

Stefan,

my understanding is that we can use fault message for any thing that gives you back response is my assumption correct.

for example synchorouse webservice reciver which throws exception back
