What is the difference between BBPMAININT, USERS_GEN, SU01.

Hi,

let's try the short version:

BBPMAININT - SRM ITS transaction handle external business partners (e.g. supplier/bidder)

USERS_GEN - SRM transaction with focus of mass-creation of employee's based on different conditions

(e.g. based on existing user accounts).

SU01 - SAP transaction for single-record maintenance of system users.

So users in SRM can be created using SU01? Can this user access org structure. What is the main usage of USERS_GEN.

users-gen helps many ways

you can create su01 single ids o r user01 to user100 at one time.

and integrate to organisation structure.

and you can delete the users

go users_gen and eexcute and you will come to know many usagaes.

users created using the transaction SU01 --> can not use SRM system.

only users assigned in the org structure can use SRM system. It is also possible to assign existing users to org structure in ppoma_bbp.

then they can work in SRM system.

Yes. As Khan suggested you can not work with web unless you integrate to organisation structure. then only you can create /process documents.

org struture helps to create a business objects. so user inherits most of data from organisation structure. once you integrate to org structure. your user creates BP and CP . then only you can do on web.

In SRM , you must be a business partner.
