I am facing a problem while logging into my SAP 4.7 EE IDES server. After entering my username and password on initial screen of SAP, system gets hanged and it does not open SAP Easy Access. Server, work process all seems to be ok. What might be the issue. Help?

You can check with the tool "dpmon" (as user <sid>adm) what the system is doing (is like transaction SM50).
This is not a SAPGUI problem but apparently a basis problem, depending on the database you're using check if the database og area is full (Oracle archiver stuck, MaxDB LOG FULL etc.)
