Workflow error buffer table not upto date

Hi Experts,

I have activated one step workflow for shopping cart. Once approved the shopping cart's status doesn't change to approved. It remains as awaiting approval.

I tried to set the status as released through SWO1 but there I am getting this error-

Buffer table not up to date

Exception 1002 triggered

Message ID BBP_WFL

Message number 052

Error changing to status RELS

I am working in SRM 5.0 and support pack SAPKIBKT14

Hello Kapil,

please apply note OSS Note 1233774 - Customer fields are not transfered to the historical version

1. Go to Transaction SM30 and maintain the view 'BBPD_COMP_FIELDS'.

2. Click on New Entries and maintain the following entries in the corresponding client (This is a client specific table).

1. Header

Comparison Method : System Default Setting(Always read as Basis)

Structure: INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF

Comparison Relevant Fields per Comparison Method:

Structure/Field Enters Comparison(Inclusive)

2. Item

Comparison Method : System Default Setting(Always read as Basis)

Structure: INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF

Comparison Relevant Fields per Comparison Method:

Structure/Field Enters Comparison(Inclusive)

3. Accounting

Comparison Method : System Default Setting(Always read as Basis)

Structure: INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF

Comparison Relevant Fields per Comparison Method:

Structure/Field Enters Comparison(Inclusive)

Hello Kapil,

Please check again this note as suggested by Nicolas. This notes gets successfully applied to our systems but manual steps listed are not carried out. Check whether manual steps entries exists in view 'BBPD_COMP_FIELDS' in SM30 transaction.

1233774 - Customer fields are not transfered to the historical version

Even I faced this problem but when I carried those manual steps, my problem got resolved.

I hope you have executed t-code SWU_OBUF to refresh buffer after activating the workflow.
