ATP for STR

My requirement is to transfer material from plant to plant. STR will be created via MRP. My question how do I carry out ATP for material availability at source plant?

For this a standard setting is available in STO s basic configuration

img-materials management-purchasing-purchase order----set up stock transport order

In this there is a setting available that assign delivery type and checking rule to the plant

That checking rule is availablity check's checking rule We can assign B there that is SD delivery

Checking group will be there in MMR say for example 01

For this combination that is 01 and B we have to maintain control parameters in OVZ9

Right now i am not infront of SAP screen

While creating PO itself in ME21N system performs availablity check automatically

You see can see this in status bar when the material is entered and all the other details are entered as a message availablity check being carried out

From the menu bar on the top in the PO screen we can scroll thro and find out with what control parameters system has performed availablity check

What is STR?
