Instalation Error TNS :Network Adapter error

Dear All

Instalation of ECC 6.0 the step of ABAP IMPORT when Starts its 2-3 process are complited and other getting the error like TNS :Network Adopter error .i install listner n check in task mgr/services its started what would be the solution for tyhis proble m plz reply me soon .

hi Deepak,

Can you post the contents of the listener.ora and if using one, sqlnet.ora file here?

is the listener running ok .... depending on whether your listneer is default or custom run either :

$ lsnrctl stat <listener name>

$ lsnrctl stat

Can you ping your database over oracle net? :

$ tnsping <SAPSID>

(what result does this give you?)

Is your TNS_ADMIN variable set for either ora<SID> or <SID>adm users ? :

$ echo $TNS_ADMIN
