Hi everyone,

can anyone help me in how to determine minimum charges when no meter reading is available for a business partner. how to bill him with a minimum amount and where we will define this?

Dear Archana,

If you dont have a meter reading to enable billing you willl have to close the meter readign order, so for the customers who dont have a meter reading you may enable mass estimation using EL30, here the estimation logic would be the same consumption of the previous month or average of two months or three months.

The other way should be the form mimimun amount the equivanlent meter reading consumption should be calculation adn entered in the consumption field of the EL28 screen keeping the meter reading to be the same as the previous meter reading.

Hi - You can define minimum charges inside rate config. If the meter reading is not available, are you going to estimate the read or pass on the same meter read to make the consumption as ZERO. If you gonna calculate the consumption as zero, then you can post a minimum charge line from inside the rates after checking the condition of zero consumption.
