Monitoring query

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we need to perform message interface specific monitoring. That is, when we enter the interface name, it is required to get the whole history of the interface along with the number of successful runs, the number of times error occurred etc. In other words, what we get in moni/message monitoring + consolidated number of success and errors.

Is there any such feature in XI?? or any other user friendly tool??

Regards,

Divya

Hi Divya,

Have you checked this blog:

http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=%28J2EE3417200%29ID0172822650DB1065132892549028194...

It says about Communication Channel monitoring

Other alternative will be to write a ABAP report program which will show this. You can use these table https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/XI+Tables

Suraj

We have similar requirement to my current customer. I have noticed few 3rd party companies are coming up with solutions, not sure if they are certified yet. There is no such standard solution out of box.

Customization - develop custom service - inturn invoke webservices over the tools you need to consolidate report you needed

or

develop abap report - inturn get the data from core tables as previously mentioend xi tables

SAP Architecture is changing (udnerlying) from version to version, so inturn logging of message/persistance is changing (for ex pi 7.0 to 7.0) so anything developing based on pi tools/PI Api may work longer term.
