Hi,

Is alert is used only for BPM?

How to use alerts in A2A scenario?

where actually an Interface is linked to the alert?

I am not able to view the alert configuration page in the RWB, Do i need to do any settings to open it?

Hi Sai,

For the above error you will have to add a service in SICF.

Goto SICF and under that go to SAP->BC>BSP-->SAP

There you will have to activate ALRTINBOX.

After activating you will have to register the service. Once done this issue will be solved.

Hello Sarevesh,

Thanks for the response. I have been to SICF, SAP->BC->BSP->SAP->ALRTINBOX(BSP) its status shows that it already active. but when i test the service. gives the same BSP error.

I have been to SICF, SAP->BC->BSP->SAP->ALRTINBOX(WAP) its status shows that it already inactive. but i find no option to activate it...

Kindly help me in this regard.

Alert can be used for any scenario...not only for BPM.

How to use alerts in A2A scenario?

How to use?? Alerts are normally used to indicate the support person of any error in message processing.

where actually an Interface is linked to the alert? 

At two places....not sure in which context you are talking.

In ALRTCATDEF when you define the alert, you make use of Alert Container Variables....here you can associate the Interface name in the alert message.

If you are talking about raising an alert for a particular interface then this criteria is defined in RWB --> Alert Configuration

1) Either you dont have access

2) Or you are not using FQDN when you are trying to open the Alert Configuration tab....if it is visible.

Hi Abhi,

I am using my personal system so no admin, everything i have to do myself.

while working on ABAP side, T Code ALRTINBOX, i got the following error

BSP Error

Calling the BSP Page was terminate due to an error

Please help me in this regard.

other u can search in sdn and get alert docs as well good luck
