Hi Experts,

Even though i av defined the object link for attaching the documents to BOM HEADER,BOM LINE ITEM and PRODUCTION ORDER,While i want to attach the document from DMS it is a msg as

Object link to STKO_DOC cannot be changed in this transaction - BOM Header

Object link to STPO_DOC cannot be changed in this transaction BOM Line Item

Object link to PORDER cannot be changed in this transaction - Pordn Order

Can i know how to resolve this issue...

Currently i am also facing the same Problem.

Could you please provide me the Information, what are the steps you have taken to resolve the issue.

Hi Bhanu,

regarding the mentioned object links I have to inform you that they can only be maintained from object side. This means that you cannot enter object data in transaction CV02N. Only from the object related transactions you can create links to document info records.

This is also confirmed by SAP note 302863.

Hi Christoph,

I would like to check with you once again regarding the note that you had mentioned. The note is specified to the BOM header and the BOM Item only.I believe this is applicable to the Prod orders as well.

In the note its mentioned as program error.Is it still the same for new versions as well or its been taken care.

I believe not all object can be attached through the DIR the rest has to be done in object level.I guess for Pur orders its same.Please advice.
