Hi,

My questions are regarding Factory STO with out Excise and Depot Sale with out Excise,RG23D.

1) If excise is not there in Plant to Depot STO,should we create J1IIN (Excise Invoice)?

2) If excise is not there in depot sale should we create J1IIN or J1IJ?

3) If RG23D is not there for Depot sale then can we use j1iin instead of J1IJ?

Thnks,

NAG

Hi Naga sudhir,

1)If excise is not there in Plant to Depot STO,should we create J1IIN (Excise Invoice)?

If it is not excisable, you don't have to create excise invoice in J1IIN.

2) If excise is not there in depot sale should we create J1IIN or J1IJ?

Depot is for trading you can't use J1IIN here. you can use only J1IJ alone.

3) If RG23D is not there for Depot sale then can we use j1iin instead of J1IJ?

Depot is for trading you can't use J1IIN here. you can use only J1IJ alone.

If you are not maintaining rg23d register but still you want capture the sales transaction in SAP system

then you have to create one manual condtion type and insert it into pricing procedure.

in sales order or in billiing document you have to sum up all excise duty and manual key in to manual condition type.

thanks,

HI,

1) If excise is not there in Plant to Depot STO,should we create J1IIN (Excise Invoice)?

Ans: No need to create excise invoice so do not use J1IIN

2) If excise is not there in depot sale should we create J1IIN or J1IJ?

Ans: No need to create excise invoice so do not use J1IIN and J1IJ. you can follow this Process VA01,VL01N,VF01

3) If RG23D is not there for Depot sale then can we use j1iin instead of J1IJ?

Ans: No need to update RG23D so do not use J1IIN and J1IJ

Note: if the plant or Depo is not excisable you need not use any J transaction.

if the palnt or depo is excisable folow below steps..

1.Excisable plant- use transition J1IIN for excise invoice creation and update RG1 register thru T.Code J1I5

2. Excisable DEPO - use transition J1IJ for excise invoice creation and RG23D will update automatically

Dear NAGA SUDHIR

Find below the answers

1) If excise is not there in Plant to Depot STO,should we create J1IIN (Excise Invoice)?

Ans.J1iin is required only when you are passing on the duties.. In case no excise means no J1IIN.

2) If excise is not there in depot sale should we create J1IIN or J1IJ?

Ans.If you want to populate the entries in Rg23D for Depot sale then opt for j1ij, else it is not required in case of without excise. I guess you are talking about without subsidiary gate pass scenario.

3) If RG23D is not there for Depot sale then can we use j1iin instead of J1IJ?

Ans.No. For depot only applicable register is Rg23D and to update it only J1IJ should be used.

Hope this will solve your queries.

Hi,

In Local Traded goods only the excise will not be there. For Imports there will be Excise Duty for Sure. Depot is nothing but a plant where in over there the Production activity will not take place over there. So if any duty is paid to the vendor directly passed on to the customer.

For the Qust:-

1.Depot STO no need to create J1IIN.

2. Capture it in J1IJ.

3.RG23D is the report generated for Depot submit to the Excise Department t.Code:-J1IDEPOTSTOCK1. Every 3 month this has to be submitted to Excise Department for Depot Plant.

Hope this will resolve you problem,

Pherasath.
