Log shipping - Restore job fails in standby server

Dear All,

We have configured Log shipping in our PRD for SQL system and now we are facing in issue in restore job in stand by server. The tuf file is in place in the secondary server where log files were stored and it was last updated on 10-9-2009. In our case, tlog files are missing for the date stamp (10-9-2009 to 14-9-2009). I have checked the same with SQL forums and i understood that only way is to reconfigure the Log shipping.

Is there any other way to do that other than re-configuring with latest full backup ? Kindly suggest me.

Hi Raj,

I think you can pause the Logshippig and do restore in stand by server.

After restoration, you can continue Logshipping.

Why need to re-configure Logshipping again?
