inspection lot

My issue is that

I have created a P O of 1000 nos of product A, and I know this material wont be receipt in single lot or day. Delivery will be vary one day 100 nos other 500.

now my issue is that when I do GR against PO.

My inspection lot should be created as material received on individual days

If 100 recived on 01.01.2009 than lot qty should be 100 if 200 on 04.01.2009 than 400

If 05.01.2009 than 50..

PO will be of 1000 only but lot should be created on received basis

Plz Tell me how to set this

QM view>insection type 01>Control InspLot-->for each material document.

When

GR is created for 100 Qty then Inspection lot will be created with 100 Qty.

This will work

Dear Rahul

You requirement is not very clear. If you want lot basd on the delivery then it is a standard functionality. Make sure that for the inspection type you have set in INspection control For every material document, item

i prepered PO for 1000 nos

i will received this 1000 qty in period of 6 month and recived qty during this period is not fixed it january it many be 100 or in march it may be 50.

so now i want system should create different inspection lot for qty received. not on total qty of po
