we have created a new notificaton type and handled this.

We do have customer warranty and claim functionality in SAP. T code for creating claims is WTY. Warranty master data can be set up using T code BGM1 and assigned to Equipment. There is config to be done which can be reached via T code OWTY. I don't think just having a notification type will suffice.

Dear pooja,

Yes you can have option to check the Customer Warranty in SAP 4.7.

You just need to do ....while creating Equipment ..in Customer warranty tab maintain valid to date....

Now maintain the Service notification for this equipment ....if it is within the Warranty youcan able to see the Pop-up Screen and validity time.
