Custom Values for Service Desk SUBJECT

Former Member

I have been able to customize CATEGORY, STATUS and PRIORITY in Service Desk, but SUBJECT is alluding me. In SRRO, I followed the path SAP SOLUTION MANAGER | CONFIGURATION | SCENARIO-SPECIFIC SETTINGS | SERVICE DESK | DEFINE CATALOGS, CODES and PROFILES. I run the activities here and can see the catalog and can work my way down to the "Change View 'Code Groups for Profile': Overview", but cannot open the code group to change or add entries.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Hi,

Create a "Z" CODEGROUP and define necessary CODE for that "Z" CODEGROUP and attach it to your CATALOG.

To create Z CodeGroup, follow,

SAP SOLUTION MANAGER > CONFIGURATION > SCENARIO-SPECIFIC SETTINGS > SERVICE DESK > DEFINE CODE GROUP PROFILES.

Select the CATALOG which you would lik to customize and Create a Z CodeGroup under that and then create and assign Codes to the Z CodeGroup.

Thx,

Waseem.

Thank you. I got that far. But how do I make the Z Code Group the active one?

Hi,

Change your Subject Profile pointing to your Z Code Profile and Code Group.

So that the Z Code Profile will be your active.
