Hi everyone, I have one problem with the JCO destinations in EHP1, i used to develop in NW 7.0 and there the jc0 destinations are deployed automatically just deploying the app, i then try with a simple app with an RFC on EHP but the destinations doesnt appear in the "Maintain jco destinations" after the deploy. Any help wil be appreciated.

Hi,
Please follow these steps for creating RFC destinations:
1. Login to NWA --> http://<host name>:<port>/nwa .
2. in the high level naviogation --> select SOA managemnent --> Techincal Configuration --> Destinations.
3. here u will find destinations List . select create button to create a new destination --> In the EVS , u can select RFC Destination as type.
Hope it helps.
Thanks and Regards
Hi,
as your application is specific to NEW7.0 and ehp 1
follow these steps to configure the RFC
1. Start the Visual Administrator.
2. Connect to the portal server.
3. In the tree, select <SID>/Server<u2026>/Services/Jco RFC Provider.
4. Create an RFC destination:
Program ID: <PORTAL_HOSTNAME>_PORTAL_<PORTAL_SID>
The program ID is the name of the registered server program.

Manohar

Hi Isaac Mena,
In NW CE , you need to create the RFC JCO destinations explicitly in the following path.
SOA Management -> Destinations -> Create destinations here. Choose Destination type as RFC and other parameters same as in NW 7.0
Feel free to revert in case of any issues
Regards,
Siva

Try selecting the deployed application and watching its JCOs.
