Hi All,
I want to convert ANSI format text file to UTF-8 Format Text file just between two folders with in my network itself.
How to do this with File adapter in XI.

I tried with ASCII-US at Sender Channel and UTF-8 At Receiver channel
It worked..

As ASCII is a subset of ANSI (and UTF-8), make sure, that your incoming file always is restricted to ASCII characters.
Otherwise you would have a wrong transition of European characters like äáà
