Hi .. MP Vashishth

when you clic in customing Assin Authorization ... the system will open the PFCG transaction ... this transaction is for "profile" so... at this moment you will link the autorization grup created in customing and the Porfile or the user you need that have tha "Authorization"

This could be better explened from an " Profile Cusultant "

I hope it help.

To gobally switch the VIP flag to non editable, you can do it in

BUS2 - Field Groups (with field group 450), or

BUSO - Field Grouping per BP Category

To enable the field for editing for special users, you can implement your own field grouping and configure it with BDT.

Just found some more info, it would be possible to replace the standard function module with your own ones in BUSC - Field Grouping Criteria. What you need to do is in your own function module to add some authorization check and modify the returned field status string.
