getting j2ee_guest as logged in user

Hi All,

I have only j2ee engine to which I deploy the wed dynpro application.

JCOs are created using username/password.

I directly run the Applicatio by URL link on J2EE engine.

I have no portal for this system.

Now I need to get logged-on ( current user ) user as the username that is used for JCOs creation.

But I am getting J2EE_GUEST. please let me know to resolve this.

Thanks and Regards,

Aditya Deshpande

Hi,

Do you log in to the application? If not, then what you are getting is proper. Quickly put, J2EE_GUEST is the inherent default user that's used to run the WD standalone applications. If you want to authenticate before running the application, set the application property "sap.authentication" to true.

Hi Satyjit,

There some authorisation required at r/3 side. These authorisations are given to the user used for creating JCO connection.

Hence I need to use this user in web dynpro application.
