Issue in Planning Run Post application of SAPKY50016 on SCM 5.0

hi!

We are in the process of upgrading from APO 3.1 to SCM 5.0.

As part of the upgrade testing, we had taken a Planning Run for a

specific location product and had obtained the correct output ( PurRqs with the expected quantity ).This

testing had been done on SCM 5.0 support package SAPKY50015.

Subsequently we had deployed support package SAPKY50016. It has been

observer that post the support package application, the same

functionality for the mentioned test scenario is not working. No "PurRqs" is being created.

I have already raised a message on OSS regarding the same but yet to recieve a reply. Has anyone observed such an issue ; if yes, is there any note specific to it.

Hi,

Please see if the note Note 1386950 - Strategy settings of Backwards does not create orders is relevant for you. Otherwise the below link contains the list of OSS notes for the side effects of upgrading from SAPKY50016 to SAPKY50016. If you believe that the functionality is broken due to the new support pack, you will find the correction note (as well as the note which has broken the functionality) in the link.

Issue was due to some purc ords. not getting deleted.
