Import of records very slow

Hi All

We have huge number of records to be imported in SAP MDM 5.5 SP06. The import is being carried out in batches of 5000 records. The time to complete the process for 5k records is about 4-5 hours. Also, at times, the MDM server is going down and we need to restart the import process. Can anyone provide some pointers to improve the performance, please?

Hi Ritam,

4-5 hours is too much for 5K records, check the available disk space on which database is installed. If your MDM server is installed on Unix then ask your basis to set the memory for mdm user to unlimited. Also check the below path to improve the Import performance if you are using MDIS
