Interactive Forms - Validation Check for Madatory Fields

Hi,

I am working with Interactive Adobe forms using HCM Processes and Forms.

On clicking the check and send buttonu2026 certain validations on mandatory fields and length and type of value entered for pin code etc happensu2026 do u know where these validations come from?

We have made some customizations in PA30 for different infotypesu2026 on the portal all those customizings are not effective because I guess the NW approach does not go through PA30 screensu2026 certain standard mandatory fields that we have configured as non-mandatory for the clientu2026 are throwing errors when entered through portalu2026 if u can tell me where these settings are madeu2026 we can make similar customizing there as wellu2026

I tried this note too, but it does not work...Note 1239961 - Error message for Required fields configured from DTT

Hi,

I found out how to get this done through inputs from a friend.

Go to SPRO->Personnel Management->Personnel Administration->Customizing Procedures->Infotypes->Infotypes in Detached Infotype Framework->SAP: Define Field Characteristics

Here we can specify the field level attributes for non PA30 interfaces like a portal based application. Settings need to be done for Infotypes at a country/ subtype level.
